Tint is great. I wouldnt want a car without it.

haha either the cops here are really stupid or just dont care. ive heard of a few people that got tickets, but i also know sooo many people who have it and dont get tickets. so what happens if you do get a ticket for you? do you HAVE to take it off no matter what?

 

i had one a long time ago and the cop came over with a razorblade and watched me take it off. they have the right ive they want to. it was either that or a fine

 

I had my last civic with 5 percent tint on back three windows and 20 percent tint on the front, and i never got a ticket. Then i sold the car and a week later the guy tells me he got a ticket for the tints lol

in cali if you get pulled over for tint they usually just give you a fix-it ticket. but you have to go to courtand prove you removed the "problem". All you have to do is pay $10 and youdont get any other fine or anything.

 

i had to pay 140 bux in 'court costs' when i got my tint ticket. lol. it was BOGUS. i didnt pay a fine at all. just court costs and it was 140 bux. rediculous

 

no one gets tickets here, i rock 20% all around, and i paid $160 for all of my windows....so you didnt get ripped of contrary to that one dudes statement...it just depends on who does it, i could have done it my self for like $20 but thats 3 hours and a few headaches i saved.

any way, i just thought i would add that a local city school has the windows on all of their buses tinted...and the Mentally Handicap school has their windows tinted...cops wont bother us for tint.
