Default tinting???

hey, i wanted to tint the windows of my 04 civic. the only windows ive ever done was on an S10. the S10 did not have rear defog on the back window, however, as you all know, the civics do. does this present a problem? is there any reason why not to tint the back window. and the side windows should not be a problem, but once again, the rear window is too wide for a strip of tint to reach both the top and bottom of the window. so when tintin it, is it hard to get that seam to not be visible? thanks

Where did you pick up the tint from? If you go to a tint shop they'll sell you the film in sheets big enough for the rear window. Also I had mine professionally done andthey cut around the defog lines.

Belmont, nice siggy

The defost doesnt do anything. My tint is over the defrost lines and I use my defost all the time, and Iv had my tint for like 2 years. Doesnt make a differance. What the tint shop does is cut the tint in 2 pieces, one for the top of the window and one for the botton. Then put it toughter in the middle, since the window is curved its hard to just put one piece. You cant notice the line at all,I didnt even know it was there till the guy told me.

Yeah, I got mine done as a single piece right over the defroster lines and havent had a problem using rear defrost. Good Luck if your going to do the rear.

they tinted mine right over the defrost things.

I say get it professionally done man. They'll know what to do, you wont get an bubbles or peeling, and if you do it'll probably be under warranty so you will be able to get it replaced.
