I've been web surfing all day and can't find an answer. Does anyone know if there's a remote trunk lid conversion? If so, where and what brand to buy? I want to shave my trunk key hole, but don't want to open the door and pull the latch every time I want to open the trunk. Seriously, it would be a whole lot easier if I could just press a button on my remote keyless entry. Which anyone with a 7th gen knows, there's no button on the remote. So, I need a compatible remote to my factory keyless entry system as well.

 

You can get that with alarm systems, I know my Viper alarm had the option of Auto start and keyless trunk access. I didn't want to pay for either so I just got the standard alarm. But If I ever want to add those I always can cause my system is capable. Goto a local stereo shop and tell them what you want I know it can be done.

 

So I'm stuck replacing the factory system... That sucks. Not that the factory system is anything great, but there are so many other things I'd rather spend my money on. Thanks for the info though.
