yea i had them for a while when i first got my car because i thought it made my front look nicer. till one flew off the highway one day >;o

ya i put a bunch of 3M double sides tape all over mine.LOL they wont come off my 99.LOL
as you can see they dont block much light output at all! tho i would not get the carbon fiber lids again! they stick out to much...
if ya want to be cheap just get some paint and some tape and some old news papers to tape off the rear after cleaning the headlights really good and just tape off the area/design you want and just paint it and peel the tape right off
it will work just fine but be sure to use several layers off black before ya paint it to match your car. otherwise without the black the light will shine right thru the paint.
