I want racing seats, but nothing to serious. Nothing like racing harnesses and all that jazz, just kind of like.. Performance seats I guess you could say? Anyway I'd like black seats with red trim or stitching.. Not to much red though, mainly black because my car is all black except for a red pin stripe down the sides, and red neons inside my car... Anybody got any suggestions on what kind I could get?

 

What year civic do you own? Are you strictly looking for aftermarket bucket seats?

 

Its a 2002. I'm not dead set on after market, but I'm pretty inclined towards them.

IMO, those are all junk. You get what you pay for and those are all knock-off china made crap. None of those have been tested in crashes etc like the more prestigious brand names in the "seat" industry. Those tests costs money, which is why you pay for the name on seats.

You would not want your seat to snap in half in the event of an accident, do you?

I know zilch about quality racing seats. I don't race, so if I wanted cool seats (and my favorite colors are black and red) I would get the cheap stuff. Not that they'd match with my gray interior well...

 

They would look cool, but the red on the seats will fade quickly due to cheap materials in addition to all of the previous comments.

 

why not get seats out of a 2002-2005 si ???
