O.k. I have a 2000 civic ex coupe and I was wondering what I lip I should get. I know I want a type R lip but how should I get it. My car is red. I was wondering if I should get a Carbon Fiber one, leave the lip black, or paint it red to match my car. What should I do with my front lip?

 

I'd paint mine the same color as my car, but that's just me.

if you have a carbon fiber hood, a matching lower lip looks pretty good.

 

carbon fibers nice but mines just abs.

 

No CF hood right now but I do want to get one some time in the future.

 

i like the mugen and the type r. i would go with the abs plastic one and paint it, i think it looks a lot cleaner.

 

id say get one and paint it. a LOT less $$ too.

I painted mine. ABS plastic!!

 

I went type R, but haven't painted it yet. i also have a type R grill, and its black too. My car is red, and with all the black accents on the car I think it's a good look.

 

I went with thecf type rbecause I have the type r grille and was going to pick up a cf hood. looks clean now (imo)
