so, i plan on repainting my hx rims. and right now i am thinking of two color options. option 1 is polish lip and black, and option 2, all gunmetal. i just want you guys opinion and suggestions on what you think would look best.

I have a 99 Silver civic coupe. I dont have any rims on it yet, but I plan on either putting dark bronze or gunmetal 15's on it. So out of the two you have, I would choose gun metal. Keep us posted!

 

Are those just steelies with one of those chrome rings? You are just gonna paint steelies? Or do you have actual rims? If so which ones? I'd go Black with a lip

 

those are not steelies. those are the HX rims. it was painted black with silver lip but the paint is starting to peel. so i just want to repaint them.

its cool, in the pics it does look like steelies. lol. i got 1 vote for gunmetal and 1 vote for black and polish lip.

 

Gunmetal all the way, much cleaner look. IMO or like hyperblack

But if I have to choose one of the two options, I'd say keep them black... it'll go better with the other black on the car (front lip, sides, moulding, etc)
