i went to a customs shop today because i wanted new rims. I picked out enkei evo 6, 18 ", tires included but i forget what kind. also all labor included. However, the head guy there wanted to sell them to me for 1,650. that seems a little high. help me out please.

Yeah thats a little high, i couldnt find any evo 6's on ebay but go to http://www.streetdreams.org/display....in=Dark%20Gray and you can get the set of 18's for $680...that means that dude was trying to charge you like 1000$ for tires and install.

I was going to buy my 5+'s from a local shop, they wanted 1300, I went to discounttiredirect.com and got them for 900. Check around the net man you will definately find a better price. Those prices included tires, but the rims are 16". so it'll be higher for the 18s.

1100 is with tires on sr 7's (changed my mind) but im having second thoughts on what size i should go with. do you think 18" would be to big? Would 17 be a better coice?

X's 2. There is a chick at school with 18's. She has no profile at all and it just look too big. It will also slow you down even more than 17's.
