My car (red civic 96 ex) has recently got into an accident and I have to replace the hood. I don't need a new and fancy one and the only thing that matters is that it must be CHEAP. I live in a small town in midwest and have no idea how you guys find used hoods. I called a local auto store and they asked for $200, which is beyond what I can afford.

 

Do a google search for salvage yards. You can either get one from there OR a lot of salvage yards can get new ones super super cheap. I know I'm getting one new this summer for 100 and say 15 for me to paint it.

 

craigslist / junk yards / eBay / certifit.com

Those would be my first places to look.
