from what ive heard of friends in michigan they are very illegal up there. they said you couldnt even have them on in a parking lot.....
there where suprised when i pulled up with mine on my old truck saying i would get ticketed very fast if a cop saw me with them on....

so your pretty much hit on underbody lights up there....

are you talking about the under body neons? as far as i know, almost all the states prohibit them for road use. you can add a switch or something to show them off

ya im pretty sure its illegal...
but just to be safe next time you see a cop chillen in a parking lot or on a side street runing radar pull up beside him ( with both hands visable on the wheel) and say you have a question for him and if underbody lighting on a vehicle is illegal or what the restrictions are on them.... usualy if you be nice in the way you ask they should tell ya the truth if they are in a good mood... not always will they tell the truth of course.....

I grew up outside the "D" having moved to AZ last year. I recall seeing neon for a very short time back maybe 15-20 years ago. Did not see one car in MI with neons since then. I would definitely assume they're illegal. Cops can see you from so far away I suppose people stopped using it. Neon = automatic ticket

Default Its weird

I have talked 2 five cops in the last 2 days including calling the police station to inquire on this all of them said it was fine... and that the only thing is that all lights on a car are required to be on not broken

i'm from michigan and have gotten pulled over for having LED mirrors (blue) on while driving. The cop pulled me over for inpersonating a police vehicle, i look behind me and he has the same mirrrors w/ LEDs flashign haha i also have been talked to about my underbody neons, also blue, but never about my interior ones. Just have the neons on while parked on private property and never on a public roadway while driving. You'll be safe then.
