I have had an old accord that I tinted and the rear window was all bubbley, the guy told me that all honda's will do that, so I started paying attention and it seems like 95% of them do look like crap on the rear, but now I have a new civic that I am try to love and I think that tinting would help, but I don't want to pay for it unless it looks good, is this a myth or does everyone else have the same problem? Any suggestions on what to ask for at the tinting place or maybe I should pay the overprice at the dealership? Help please.

 

no offence but whoever told you that is a idiot..why would only honda do that[:@] , anyways, check out local tint shops in your area, you can get your car tinted, computer cut, lifetime warrinty on bubbles,discoloration, and pealing this way you never have to worry about it...i got mine done about a year ago and it came with all the warrinty,im loving it

 

I cant imagine why tint jobs just wouldnt work on Hondas. Theres no reason for that. It has to be the quality of thr job. Tiniting can be difficult, so just make sure you get it done right.

 

mill$civic, do you get any sh*t from the police about your tint? I want to get 20% all the way around but i dont know if i should, i just got my first ticket yesterday for having my brights on...yea cops are gay around here, the idot gives me a ticket for having my brights on and not shutting them off when he flashed his brights at me, it was 3:30 am and it was pretty dark out, he just turned around and pulled me over...im pretty pissed

I have tint on my car and have no problem with it....and it's not the make of the car, it's the quality of the installation. When I got my tint, the installer said that it's guaranteed not to bubble or turn purple, and that if it does, he'll do it for free. <-- lifetime warrenty. so just look for something that will give you a warrenty on it you know? but that guy was just telling you junk.

 

with tinting i think it depends on your local laws, mill$civic is in Ontario, and i am in New Brunswick and i know tha laws here are different than there, so for tinting all arround i would find out if it is even legal in your area magiconthetire, otherwise your wasting your money getting it tinted all the way arround

 

theres about three different shops around here that'll do your windows all the way around with a lifetime warranty (llumar tint) for under $200.... that'll be my very first mod

 

ya i have limo tint on my back windows and 1 up on my fronts and i have never got hasseld..i no some people that have limo all around and dont get hassld...tints not a big deal over here, but like Fiirkan says it all depends were you live i guess...its stupid tho that cops bug people because of tint[:'(]

 

Good question lol, i have to go to court. watch, the ticket will only be like $25 bucks. he could have picked up someone for speeding, or drunk driving at 3:30 am but no, he chose me because of some damn high beams. stupid a*s cops just trying to fill their quota.
