Yeah, find a reputable local shop, and have them do it...

yea, bubbles are ugly, ugly ugly.

If you wanna learn to tint, check out the local community collge they probably have some sort of auto classes and may include tinting. That way you'll learn it the right way and can actually make yourself into a legitimate window tinter

Yea... window tint is def. not something you want to try for the first time on your car. Unless you just get terribly lucky there will be bubbles and alot of other problems with it. Window tint isn't as simple as it looks, it took me a ton of trys to ever do it right but I still pay people to do my own car. If you think about it, $200 isn't that much when it comes to car mods. Just like a day and a half of work. You might as well drop the cash rather than try to save a little money on something like window tint that can totally ruin the looks of your project if it's done wrong.
(and by the way....it's a major mess if you mess up on it)

also: most shops get a better quality material than you can buy, unless your ready for a bulk purchase.. that crap at the autoparts stores will turn purple...

$200 smeams a little expensive...but agree with these guys^ shops are the place to go, you get the warrinty and everything..my buddy did his windows, his sides came out OK, but there was like a inch gap from the top of the window to the tint, and he couldent get the rear window on because the way it curves, at the tint shop they make cuts in the tint before they put it on the back because the back window is roundy, but you cant see the cuts..this is why you should get them to do it, they have computer cut as well

Go with a shop. look around and tell them what you have been quoted and see if they will do it cheaper. also go with 6 percent its dark from the outside and you can still see from the inside. well at least during the day. :D
