RE: Window tinting

For anyone in California (or anywhere with low percentage tint laws [50%-80%]), what percentage do you think I go that won't give me too much attention from the cops? Legal limit in CA is 70%, and I'm thinking somewhere around 45%-50% would be the lowest I could go. Anything is legal on the back windows, so without a doubt I'm getting 10% on them, it's the front I'm thinking about.

Thanks for any suggestions. Pictures of 50%-80% would be well appreciated too! ;)

In BC Canada all I'm aware of is you can't have any tint on the front. I got 20% tint on the rear though.

Edit: oh and by the way how doi make it so my picture shows up like yours? in a non-thumbnail sort of way :p thanks!

I'm in the only state thatgives you the option between 27% all round, or no tint up front and any in the back. I went for 27% all round because I hate being blinded by the sun.
50% is pretty much NOT there. Its enough so that the sun isn't BLINDING. I don't see why its so high... I can see through my 27% perfectly, I'd LOVE 15% or maybe even 10%. I'd say darker tinting is safer, no major glare that distracts from driving. If I put some really dark sunglasses on its like driving at night, but really other than that.

Also, to post a non thumbnail pic, I upload the picture on photobucket, then come here with the link, and put it in between [IMG][/IMG]

in delaware you can get a note from an eye doctor saying that the sun is distracting or what ever and you can get like presidental if you want

RE: Window tinting

Yeah, same in MN. Otherwise its 50% all round. Bah.
How hard is it to get a note by the way? I'm moving to a state with a higher grade tinting and I'd REALLY perfer not to have to get my tinting redone.
