Maryland is 35% all around, but having any aftermarket tinting will cause you to fail an inspection and you have to go and have it verified by the state police to make sure it is 35%.

In Florida we have to have our windows behind the driver at 15% and the front windows at 28%. My friend has 5% and hasnt had any problems. We can have any color tint unlike CA but we have to have a sticker on our driver side window that says its legal

 

mmmmmm Good for the law...SURE... But what a TOTAL PIA for someone with aftermarket tint!!!!!!!!!! IMO they outta file-13 that!!

i have limo on my quater windows(2 door coupe)
25% on my bac
and HAD 35% on my front

went a month with it on than got pulled over at like 11 o clock at night with it which than probably seemed dark as hell
i also had to go to a officer friend to comfirm this because the guy at the tint shop said i would be fine..stupid me....

i sometimes wonder why they are legally allowed to put it fully on yet its still illegal

luckely it was a fix it ticket, where i had to remove the tint on the front windows and get a officer to sign off on it.
i asked how many times you can get this fix it ticket it and i guess if its not bad you'll just keep getting it over and over.

so might as well put it back on again ha.
