Wing
I bought a wing off ebay its an OEM Style and they painted it exactly the same color as my car ... but i'm petrafied to put it on i don't know why i don't know what to do .... any suggestions
well if ya dont want to put it on......... pay to have a shop put it on.....
but id think the wing would come with some type of overlay piece so you can line the wing up before ya drill the holes..
just make sure if ya drill yourself to be sure ya got it lined up right and even...... also use some silicone on the bolts to help seal the drilled holes......
if you have to you can make your own templet for the wing.... get a piece of paper.... tape it to the car and use some more tape to tape off the corners of the paper so you can lift the paper off and put it back down PERFECTLY where ya had it before... and do that on both sides..... and then when the wing is positioned good for you... trace around the wind mounting points with a marker on both sides..... THEN lift off the wing and pieces of paper and then put the paper on the bottom of the wing and trace the bolt holes........ then put the paper back on the car and drill thru those holes ya just marked with the paper taped down to the car.....
also best to use a small drill at first so your sure the drill doesnt move off your mark.....
preaty easy just alittle time consuming if ya wanna do it right the first time

o hell if it came with a templete JUST DO IT......
thats the hardest part about puting a spoiler on
dont be scared..... its only 4holes.......
just go buy a new drill the right size and start drillen
id also suggest puting some paints tape over the spoiler area while working on it.... that way ya shouldnt scratch the paint... just another idea.

then ya fill the old holes with some silicone and widen the holes alitle more and use some washers on the botom and silicone to seal em up....
but sounds to me if your that scared.... just pay the 100bucks or soand have a shop put it on.....

if youre just a few mm/cms off either way you wont be able to see because of hte base of the spoiler, but if you have the template up there just line it up and do it, its drilling 4 holes, putting the bolts through the holes and tightening it down. DIY ftw man! Good luck!
just do it........... ya done paid for it!
but i guess i can say im ALMOST as bad...
hell i got my led cup holder still siting on my floor, and my SI trunk lid and spoiler siting out in the garage.LOL
but only 2things holding me back... 1 not feeling like doing any wiring quite yet... and 2 im not sure if the paint will be noticably different from the stock flameco black and what ever black/blue flake my civic is painted...
main reason why i bought a OEM complete lid was so i knew the holes where perfect and if i didnt care for it i could swap my stocker back on...
