Default ^Halogen Information^

Would anyone care for a write up similar to the "HID Information" thread? If enough people are interested I will make one though you need to give me a bit of time since my leg/ankle/foot is/are broken. There are some SIGNIFICANT benefits to halogens. The only down fall is that they use more wattage than an HID. But, think about it; What would you rather have: perfect projection (less bright, more useable light) or light noticeably everywhere (very bright, very little useable light)? I'll even admit that I used HIDs before and I'll tell you the best kit if you don't want halogens. Hands down Omni X Sport has the best HIDs. Though the light was ridiculously bright, it was useless because it didn't project on to the pavement correctly no matter what angle you adjusted the headlights to. So I took them out in about 6 hours and built a halogen system pushing 500+ watts of lighting out of the little Civic when needed. Haven't had a problem for years.

We always welcome helpful writeups and DIYs as long as they aren't written to sell certain products, just to inform.
