Changing headlights on 01 civic ex

I'm thinking about changing my car over to LED headlights. It's an 01 2-door civic ex. I was just wondering if anyone could help me out with trying to figure out if I will need more power to change the bulbs to LEDs or if they will be fine with just a stock car.
Thanks

LEDs will probably not put out enough light onto the road. I would start by googling how much power is required. Normally, you see LEDs being used for accent lighting only.

Alright thank you... Do you know any kind of lights I could get that wont break the bank?

Invest in a good set of halogen bulbs. HIDs will technically blind oncoming drivers and scatter light everywhere.

leds use vastly less power then hid or hologen bulbs usually around 10-15 watts they do make led bulbs with basically the same light output as hids but there new to the market so quality and bulb life aren't really known High Power LED Headlights Upgrade | Replace H4 H7 H11 9006 Halogen if you want to use hids your going to want to retro fit your stock headlights with these Bi-xenon: Morimoto Mini H1 6.0 - HID Projectors from The Retrofit Source Inc you basically open your stock headlights and screw those into place no real mods needed here is a DIY Bi-Xenon Morimoto Mini H1 install - Honda Civic Forum
