Recently, I acquired a pair of oem honda replica foglights. I'm converting the heads and hopefully the foglights over to hid. My question is, what bulb size should I use for the foglights? The existing bulbs have an odd mounting setup that I'm not familiar with... its held in by 2 screws (one on either side).

So I ask you, the gurus... what do I need? Also, is there an hid equivalent to that style bulb,or will I have to fab something up and go custom? I'll be placing an order through Ddm tuning next week.

In for an answer. I think they're just H1's, but the ebay bulbs don't seem to detatch from the rear cover?

 

They detach from inside. There is a rear cover sealed with 4 small phillips head screws and a rubber gasket, the bulb is inside the housing. I can get pics this evening if that would help clarify.

 

I have a broken spare set. Once you pull the 4 screws off, the bulb is there, mounted on the cover. I pulled and pulled but the ****er wouldn't come off.
