RE: 2008 Top 10 least (and most) fuel efficient cars
its pretty sad that my 16 year old car gets almost the same fuel economy as a new hybrid
|
RE: 2008 Top 10 least (and most) fuel efficient cars
tru, mine 2, they should just screw the hybrids and bring back the old toyotas and hondas and everything will be more fuel effiecient
|
RE: 2008 Top 10 least (and most) fuel efficient cars
exsatly^ when my cx was stock it got around 40mpg, and the vx models are suppose to get 45mpg with the vtec-e

RE: 2008 Top 10 least (and most) fuel efficient cars

You forgot the diesels. TDI... somewhere around 55 mph if I remember correctly? Above 40 I know that for sure.

Geez. |

I got 18-19MPG with my buddy's 5.7LHemi Grand Cherokee Limited with full-time 4WD. I set the cruise at 55-60MPH. He usually gets 13-15MPG. When he tows his 6,000+lb boat, it gets even worse. For 340HP or so, I guess that's not too bad for a luxury gas SUV with AWDthat can tow 7200lb.
I don't think the SRT 6.1L Hemi version does any better on mileage, and I don't think it'll tow as much, but the power is pretty insane for an SUV. |

I love diesel engines. Those and rotary engines are very impressive, though unfortunately have slight drawbacks =/ Diesels also tend to last a lot longer (depenind on the driver of course).

RE: 2008 Top 10 least (and most) fuel efficient cars
that list i 2 things... 1)Sucks 2) Wrong.. the Ford GT isn't even on that list.. Top Gear did a test and it was only getting 4 Mpg on a road trip
And anyone that says they get 48, or even 45 mpg in a Prius is lying |

Everything listed there is BS. those are numbers provided form the manufacturer, not from driving them, the general rule of thumb is that you will get what it shows for city will be your average of your gas mileage,

Here's my list
Top 5 Worst: CT 2004 (here's to hoping there are Dane Cook fans here) Boeing 747 Ford f-150 towing that Boeing A nuclear submarine My honda in 4 inches of wet snow Top 5 best: Mountain bike A pair of sturdy legs Skateboard Getting driven around by a friend (indirectly getting me infinite mpg) Reaching level 1 super saiyan and being able to teleport I think this list is more accurate. |
RE: 2008 Top 10 least (and most) fuel efficient cars
Nuclear power is actually very efficient. You get alot of power out of the nuclear material.
|
RE: 2008 Top 10 least (and most) fuel efficient cars
I should have seen that coming :(
