interesting race - my buddies 2002 WRX wagon (non sti of course) w/ some bolt ons vs 350z from a 70mph roll - by 130mph my buddy had the 350z by 3 car lengths and never down shifted to 3rd, just left it in fourth from the roll

my friend and i got to test drive one about a month ago. yeah...its awesome

 

who cares, WRX is ugly and has a turbo. 350Z has neither of these characteristics

 

The 350 is an impressive car and looks nice. But for the money its not worth it. Its like 32gs for the 300HP version. The mustang GT is like 24-26gs and has 300HP. The 350 is lighter by only 200lbs. Mustang is still best bang for you buck.

 

look at the gear ratios and the torque...still think the mustangs a better car? the 350Z is more expensive for a reason

PLUS there is far mor aftermarket support for the Z, you can get a twin turbo kit for 6k [8D]

i was 15 when i joined the forum...my friend is 17...hes the one who was supposed to be driving it (17 you automatically get a level 3 lisence here..which is unrestricted). we both did for about half an hour each.

 

What dealership lets a 17 year old take a 350Z for an hour?? Cause i'm 22, and i'll gladly go take an hour long rip on that thing

 

The '02 S2000 I drove will eat a 350z for breakfast and its cheaper too!
