I was bored and wondered if anyone comes from a similar background. My dad retired from the Army and I graduated HS in Germany.

Naw the closest thing to me is that my Grandfather was in the Air Force and I was in the Marines for a short while.

 

my grandfather claims he is a vietnam vet. but all he did was fix pants and peel potatos.

 

Wow that sucks but Vietnam was messed up I wouldnt have wanted to go there!

 

ehh. he never actually went. he was on a ship the whole time.

 

my ex father is in the airforce.. reserves.. but active in iraq... 5th person to set foot in baghdad... also has fought in every conflict since desert storm..

ive lived on 4 afbs my whole life.. finally got off one..and live off base.. and way away from one..
