im doing some homework and for this one question is asks me to "segmentation information in the target market"

now i already have the target market, but i dont get what the segmentation part is, whats it asking me to do?

segmentation means how your target market is grouped. EX: you could group your target market even farther down into males and females, ages, location, income, ETC

 

^^^What he said, it could be based on demographic, psychographics, behavioral patterns, geographic, geodemographic, usage. First 3 are more popular.
