any skiers here?

k well...ive been skiing most of my life (which means ive really only been skiing for 12 years) and im in the market for new skis. i havnt owned my own skis for the past few years because ive grown about 10 inches since my last pair, so ive just been renting the past few seasons. but since im about at the end of my growth spurts, im in the market for new skis. any suggestions would be appriciated. im looking into alpine skis, but im not exactly sure what brand skis or bindings i should be looking into.

not sure of the real differences between the brands, but the only ones I buy are Rossignol. I also use Salomon bindings and Nordica boots. For some reason I prefer the older style of boots - you know, the "edgy" ones as opposed to the new style that are rounded

I'll tell you later, cause I can't get to the attic at the moment. They are very similar to the "freeride" model
