Baseball sized hail

Worst 10 mins of my life. My mom and sister were at the store in my moms MINT 04 passat. I got a call saying there was baseball sized hail there and to go outside and cover the cars with everything I could find. I frantically searched the house and grabbed every comforter I could find. If not 2 mins after I get outside the hail comes. My neighbor ran out and told me I could park one car in her garage. So the Subie survived this ordeal with no damage. I pulled my sisters accord in our yard under the trees and put a blanket on it. It survived fine. My dad pulled his brand new truck as far under the overhang as possible to protect the hood. The roof survived okay. My Mom's Passat got it real bad. Hood, Roof, fenders, rear quarterpanel, trunk. All dented. She is pretty sad. We didnt get as bad of damage as some other locals though.

I tried to get some pics of the passat but given the lighting, rain, and that its silver you couldnt tell anything from the pics. But here are some of some other unlucky people.

The pictures are of
a member's car from my Minnesota subaru club.
A neighbors impala

On the news i heard some parts of Minnesota had Grapefruit sized hail.
