Default Battery/Capacitor.

Okay so my battery died a week or so ago.......and so did the cap. If i jump my car it will run fine and everything, BUT after sitting for a few hours it wont have enough juice to start. Is this because the cap died and its sucking all the juice from the battery? Or is it because the battery is shot? I will disconnect the cap and charge it if thats what I gotta do, just dont think I still have the stupid charging light........

It's cold out. Count that into the equation...My battery BARELY starts my van in the morning...I think I;m down to 7volts in the morning...so that plus the cap might be overrunning your battery

You could disconnect the cap (or the battery) and see if the car starts. If your car starts after a couple of hours after you disconnect the cap, then it means that the cap is sucking the juice. It could also be another parasitic draw that is sucking the juice out. I don't know much about caps, but i do know how the parasitic draw thing works.
