Haven't done a lot of lifting in the past months but have been running and biking my *** off. Should be back in the gym soon though.

We also have an official HCF Weight Loss thread floating around somewhere

I've been lifting weights for years longer than most of you have been alive. I finally needed a break this summer to let my body recover.

My best advice to any serious weight lifter is to break up your routine and do some cardio every once in a while to keep yourself from burning out.

Weightlifting is great but you're also putting tremendous loads on your muscles, joints and tendons, that break down over time.

Time spent working on my new EX has precluded getting to the gym. Maybe after the timing belt job...
