burning .AVI to dvd

i have always had the worse troubles trying to burn .avi files to dvd because um... i gotta few cetrain files i would love to put on dvd.

i've tried some converters... but they just dont seem to cut it.

have any of you fellow honda lovers had experience when movie editing, or anything type of home video type things.
I need a good program or one that allows me to burn .avi files to dvd.....

Are you talking about burning a data disc? If so, just drag and drop that s**t. But if you want to put AVI files on a DVD with menus and stuff, it ain't gonna happen (without being converted). .m2v is the extension for un-multiplexed DVD video (i.e. not including sound). In other words, all DVD video is MPEG-2. A program like Adobe Encore 1.5.1 is just what you need. But I'm sure someone else can give you the name of a less expensive/free/legal alternative.

For my TopGear episodes, im using NeroVision express. I like it, its pretty easy to use but its only downside is that it doesn't have that many tempeleates.
