Career Help!!

Me and my family hae been in a huge debate about my career path. I'm starting college VERY soon and i really want to be an automotive technician but my whole family is saying i'll be struggling finacially my whole life. I loked it up and they only make about 45k a year which is not too much. Since this is a community of car lovers i'm assuming many of you have automobile related jobs or know of some. So i was wonderingwhat are some good jobs that pay well and you get to work with cars and such. Not behind a desk doing paperwork all day? Thanks everyone.

You could be a Mechanical Engineer. You still get to work with cars if want and it pays better than an auto tech. Mechanical Engineering is a field where you will have to do quite a bit of physics and calculus.

I'm in second year of electrical engineering. Freshman year was easy as pie. I'm not taking any actual engineering classes until next semester. You have to do your Calc I,II,III, Diff EQ, and Phys 1&2 before you can take core engineering classes.

I'm in a similar situation. Word to the wise, take electives at community college b/c the classes are beyond easy.

I took history and world religons at community college this summer. You basically get an A if you can stay on topic and write at college level.

idk what the hell i got. for some reason i always get the dumbass professors that think no one in the world deserves an A. but all my friends get the easy ass teachers and end up doing nothing.[:@]

My first two years were in a Junior College (similar to community, but much nicer)...piece of cake.
