~just thought I'd make all you guys with big rims shiver.

I was driving through chicago on I94 a week ago and hit the mother of all potholes. It almost knocked me out of control but I recovered in time to see a LINE of 15 or 20 modded cars on the side of the freeway. Basically every car with nice rims and low profile tires that hit the pothole had been KO'd.

I survived, but I think it cracked my exhaust somewhere because my car sounds like a pocket rocket now.

on a side note... anyone ever play that old computer game Carmageddon, Carpocalypse Now? Its a great way to relieve the stress of the day, better than GTA

I thought they were redoing all of I94? Becuase i used to live out there in Lansing Il, and they had been doing construciton on it for years. It might be I65 im thinking of or the dan ryan because i no they were doing construction on it when i last went out there. I dont know maybe im getting mixed up.

 

I have never seen a scary pothole before... it is sad that an economic powerhouse like Chicago cant take care of a public safety problem.

you thought that cause it is, going down 40 west is like driving 65mph on a offroad trail.

At the beginning of the summer I decided to drive the US with my wife as fast as we could and we thought that Tennessee had the worst roads... the whole state seemed to be under construction.
