At the beginning of the summer I decided to drive the US with my wife as fast as we could and we thought that Tennessee had the worst roads... the whole state seemed to be under construction.
you said it there is construction all around my house 40 west/ 40 west and east through town /75 north /emory road its just everywhere and in 2007 they are closing 40 east and west though town so hahahaha stay away, oh joy i can't wait <<< sarcastic voice

I go to school in the city and i don't have to deal with this I-94 crap (partly since i don't have a car). I drive on I-94 quite a bit but i've never run into big potholes, but i don't drive all the way into the city. However, i take the train to school everyday. There is some sort of contruction/repairs going on on the train causing delays. Needless to say i was pissed today. Damn 2 hour commute.

I thought they were redoing all of I94? Becuase i used to live out there in Lansing Il, and they had been doing construciton on it for years. It might be I65 im thinking of or the dan ryan because i no they were doing construction on it when i last went out there. I dont know maybe im getting mixed up.
it cant be I94 you're thinking of. I94 goes from detroit to chicago (and beyond...?) which means its further south than Lansing, plus I94 ends in an even number, meaning its an east-west directional highway. the ones ending in odd numbers are north/south.

anyway..yeah theyre doing a big overhaul of 94 now but im pretty sure they started in Detroit and theyre gettng through Kzoo right now. we've had construction for the past two summers and its just getting down to the far side of town.

They're messing with I94 in Kzoo, the south side of chicago where 294 splits, the north side where the two tolls are, and downtown Milwaukee. These potholes were JUST north of chicago... where they'd shoot you if you didn't go 70mph in the bumper to bumper traffic.
