well this winter ill be saven up for some new rims for my civic, definatly gonna be 17s... i know that much!!!! gonna use my current tires cause they are new!

and well i definatly want black rims for sure....
BUT not sure if i want to do all black or polished lip....


ive been seeing some civics these last few weeks around town with all black rims and a drop and those have looked realy good!!!! only thing i didnt like was the 5spoke rim design.... i like more of a bunch of multispoke design... BUT wire rims is to many just to beat some people from posting.LOL

im kinda split between the two....

the total black is a nice... but so is the slight complement of some chrome.....

i was aiming for polished lip BUT ive seen afew total black rims which looked preaty good! but havent seen any polished lip rims on any tho

 

I have spent hours and hours getting all the damn chrome off of my car, so I am bias. I really dont like chrome unless it is on an old car.

Looking at your car I would say go with some painted ((high gloss black)) rims. BTW, I like your car. Very Clean!!!

im trying to keep the civic preaty clean!
want to customize my grill... front lip kit.... painted side skirts... and now some black projector headlights.... and some HIDs and maybe even a retro fit HID in them....
and tinting the rear tail lights.
but over all wanting to keep it preaty clean and simple!!!!!!!
nothing outragous!!!!!!


and yes i figure if i get painted rims ill have to buy them get the rubber on them and then paint them myself .

 

I think you should go black with a lip... all black makes the car look incomplete and dirty.

when rollen or far away it looks like just bare rims......

solid black makes your tires look dirty
