yeah when i first read that post i was on lunch and in the library. my friend (who was at the computer next to me) and i were laughing about something then i read it and i went dead quiet and the smile left my face...he was like 'dude what the ****?!'

hows the repair on it going btw? any progress?

I didn't know this thread was still alive. Sorry for the late reply. Sadly, I have the D17 back in the car right now. It's slow as all hell, but at least it moves. I was getting sick of that rental Taurus anyway. Now, I just have to decide what to do with the K20 and the turbo setup. I haven't done anything yet, because I am considering my options and right now I'm low on cash[:@]

that sucks extra bad, because if you just had a big hole in a piston or something, you could at least use the block. but you even lost that.

Yeah, right now I would do anything for a hole in a piston. I was planning on eventually replacing pistons and rods anyway. But for now, the engine is a complete waste.

How much boost are you running? when you do the new one are you building it up or just a oem swap in?
