Dash cams?
Okay so my question for all you guys who do auto-x is how do you secure your camcorders to your dash? I just bought a nice little sony camcorder and the suction cup mount which straps to the windshield fine but guess what? that makes my videos upside down because the damn mount is in the bottom. Oh and there is no way in hell I am putting in on top of the car. Any suggestions?

2 Attachment(s)
Here you go:
This one is on Velcro, so I can take it off when I dont need it. Attachment 31520 I can take this one off, but I just leave it one all the time. LOL Attachment 31521 I have video of each of them. They have two different feels to the video. Let me know and I will send you a sample of each. |

RE: Dash cams?
i use a ChaseCam 3 suction cup mount. sticks to just about any clean, non-porous surface. u can see in the autocross/roadrace forum a bunch of vids from different angles. theres a little hole in the mount for a teather to go thruwhich i use a shoe laceand secure somewhere within the car. i also use the little camera teather in the hole if the screw for the camera decidesgoes loose.
got it from http://soloperformance.com/Products/...2/Default.aspx |
RE: Dash cams?
^^^ That one looks nice. I thought about a suction type, but then I started thinking of it falling off. LOL
What I really want is THIS I would love to have one of those for when I get stopped by a cop. LOL "No I wasn't speeding, LOOK!" |

RE: Dash cams?
Please dont yell at me, but I just use MovieMaker. I got so use to using Avid on my old Mac. But I swear MovieMaker will work in a pinch.
