David Blaine??
I'm watching TLC and they have David Blaine doing street magic and they are showing him doing a levitation trick and showing his feet coming about a good foot of the ground. I know there is a trick to this but come on that is one hell of a trick because he is doing this on the street so I dunno I just dont know lol

they say that on the street, he keeps the front of one foot out of view but the heels come up. people gasp and say wow, then later he is attached to those thin wires they use in the movies, lifted, then its all edited together to make it look as if hes on the street doing it.
i dont know if thats how he really does it, but they had an entire show just explaining all his tricks.

what about the trick where he has the person right a name on a piece of paper and fold it up real small then he lights it on fire and brush the burning piece of paper on his chest and the name appears on his chest in ashes?

Yeah, that's messed up... I don't buy into that stuff but I couldn't believe that one. I'd be a lot more impressed if I saw it live instead of on TV though.
The one where he takes an empty beer and makes it full and unopened is a good one too. That'd be handy, I'll have to start practicing.

I know its boogus but still there si no way he has that many ppl in on this to make it look like he is walking the streets doing this so there has to be a trick to it (duh) that real ppl cant even see in person. I just dont see him having that many people in on it especially with some of their reactions. Its just magic like David Copperfield or anyone else but still its pretty neat to watch.
