Hangs with or roasts anything else on here, as well as outhandling them all, with just a touch over 500 whp. Feed it a little more boost (c'mon, you all know what a NISMO-built RB26 is capable of...) and there's no longer any competition. And it's actually possible to own one someday (unlike a Veyron).

Lingenfelter Corvettes are awesome. My practical dream car is prolly the C6 Z06 b/c it is about 60k and still is fast as hell. But if money was no object, i would have to go with a Carrera GT or the Bugatti Veyron.

If my memory serves me correctly:
Bugatti EB 110 Veyron: W16 engine (think 4 GSR engines in a W shape) making roughly 1000 atc. Claimed top speed of 250+ (never actualized), crappy transmission that can't hold the torque, and it will burn through a full 100 liter tank of fuel in about 17 minutes if you cane it.
Unfortunately, it hasn't managed to hold up any of its claims, such as "perfect in every way," "most powerful," or "fastest."

The fastest car (before the Veyron) was the McLaren F1. I think ive mentioned this before, but if you allow an F1 to accelerate up to 60 mph and then let the Veyron begin to accelerate, the Veyron will beat the McLaren to 200 (i'm pretty sure its 200). I think thats pretty damn impressive.
