Default DVD Gone in Sixty Seconds Problem

So, I have an alienware with a dvd player, put the dvd in, it loads to tell me it has the fbi warning and they'll *** ream me if I copy it etc. But then after that I can't get it to go to the other scenes, they show up but are locked.....Is this a new type of copyright thing? It makes sense because if you can't load it on the computer you can't burn it.....but an inconvience for me because I have breathing treatments and its fun to watch movies on the computer, but they are putting a stop to this[:@]

Is it just a normal DVD or HD-DVD? If so it's probably just your media player. What software are you using to play it?

Use something like Win DVD, I never use Windows Media for watching DVDs.
