the Ek only was in japan as Ek9 and Ek4
Ek9 as the type r
Ek4 as the Sir
in the U.S. they gave us the EJ6
but to your question they all are the same chassis

EG, EK, DC2 are all codes for the japan versions, there is 1 eg in the U.S. and that is the 92-95 civic si, and the only ek is the EK9 type r
