uh....i bought a engine stand today for my zc ive been working on.

Question on the bolts

autozone didnt have any engine stand bolts so i hit up home depot..

i got some 12mm 1 75 x 80mm and they fit but its hard to turn and feels like its almost rethreding the holes...

my question is what bolts should i get or am i good to just crank these bad boys down?

 

If they do not seat by hand then You probably have the wrong size or thread pattern. I can't say for sure, but that sounds rather hinky to me.

 

Home depot usually doesn't have bolts that will work with cars. You need to make sure the size and thread pitch (fine thread or coarse thread) are both correct. Try a store like Napa.

Do you have an orchard supply hardware (osh), because when i usually break a screw in my car I always find them there.

oh, home depot sucks at having screws in general[:'(]
