Sweat equity will get you more money....
What year..
size..
engine works?

you need to scrape all that gunk off the bottom and freshen it up a bit. Looks like an old glassed, cuddy style (diesel?) about what 24 foot? and say 1978-1982 year? Not a bad boat at all, with the trailer should be pretty good deal. Find the makers info and get some paper work or brouchers (sp) on it. The bad news....good luck making 9K on it. Boats are holes in the water...and out of the water too. Kelly Blue book has going values for boats, but you need the info.
The things with boats is that most people don't want to do anything to it except put it in the water. Clean and detail the interior, exterior and the trailer. Get rid of anything that looks like a maintenance headache (rust, gunk, rollers etc) It'll be worth the 500.00 or so to make the 2 or 3 grand on the back side. If you don't know how to paint the sides just try to clean and wax them.
Good luck with it though...you still may be able to get some money out of it.

see if this helps NADA used boat pricing
