well for the past few months i have been looking into the military for my after high school plans. after checking out all the different branches i finally decided on the Air Force. anyway, after talking with the recruiter for a few weeks i got sent down to MEPS to take my asvab and for the rest of the physical. so long story short i was sworn into the USAF yesterday and i am super stoked. i actually did half way decent on the asvab so right now for my first job i should be getting crew chief on tactical aircraft which is gonna be tight. is anyone else here in the armed services? any advice.

btw, im still in high school so im in the delay entry program and should be leaving for basic between july 24 and september 30.

I know a guy that makes $20 an hour at that position, but he's a skilled technician 5 days a week as well.

 

i might join the marines (special ops) after HS, have wanted to do that since i was literally 6 years old, but i might not, seeing is that my knees are already royaly ****ed...lol...but there are a few ppl on here that are military...

 

man i am also thinking about the military...i have been to the recruiters a few times and they have said that with my asvab scores i could get whatever i want as a MOS...i am looking seriously at counter intelligence though...
