Are you sure thats not just the normal smog...[8D]
dude, it's legite smoky asheyness. I also live in the middle of everything that's going on and so i think it's pretty safe where i'm at. All of my freinds had to evacuate though. Totally freakin sux.

But the up side was that i didn't have to wrk for 4 days. WOOT!!

sux for everyone who's lost their house though. 2 of my freinds almost did.

I'm on the completely oposite side of the continent, and even we have it all over the news here

Good luck man i hope things die down and get under control.

The air sucks all the way up into Orange County because of the fire up there too. I missed work yesterday because the 5 was closed in Camp Pendleton, a good portion of the freeway frontage from the power plant to the scales is burned up pretty well on the east side of the freeway. It was eerie driving to work this morning in the dark through Camp Pendleton with the orange glow behind the hills and flames flickering in some parts.

I know three people who lost their homes in Fallbrook and two more that came VERY close. The ashes are finally starting to let up, but the smoke that went over the ocean is getting blown back in [:'(] It's a mess.

yea its way more under control. My friends brother lost his house in escondido. I was fortunate enough to not be evacuated, and know only a few people that were. This place was like a ghost town for a while
