No. There's be very little if none at all consequences to blasting a nuke in the bedrock. We're not talking hiroshima size here - just enough to glaze the thing shut.

The Obama administration considered the nuke idea early on and quickly eliminated it as a viable option.

I feel bad for all the animals and such that are going to die because of it Stupid irresponsible BP.

I will never ever ever buy gas from them they all need to be shut down.
