well id think with tresspasing ya they could get you for that... or get you for racing if they had proof of it...
but the tickets and for drag racing and impounding all vehicles was WAY OVERKILL!!!!!!!

the ONLY way you are going to win this fight is if all of you show up and picket the city hall... news crews and all...and carefull and polite language....politically correct and up to date on the actual laws

 

Roto has a good idea. That might actually get somewhere. who knows maybe they would set up a place for you to go to look at the other cars

You can be ticketed for watching street racing because that is also illegal. Its an accessory or some ****. You can also be ticketed for trespassing unless you were actually eating at OCB earlier. If you were eating there earlier then they can't really ticket you for trespassing. A similar thing happened around here a while back. A buddy of mine was at a local street racing spot and the cops showed up (not sure how many squad cars but there were alot from what he said). My buddy got away but the place he was at was actually a place where people were street racing. Around here there is a restaurant where the owners let all the car/motorcyle people hang out. If you really want to find a meeting place then look for a restaurant or something similar and talk to the owner/management. The thing is that the people who show up actually have to buy stuff. The owners won't want you hanging out in front of the restaurant if you don't buy anything but if you get like a 100 cars and everyone is buying stuff the owners will welcome you and you won't have to deal with the cops.

 

It's pretty simple, cops can bend the laws to their own liking. It just shows how pathetic cops really are, that they have nothing else to do but take 75 cops and cite 200 people for no real good reason. They should spend there time elsewere, cracking down on real ciminals. I dont think street racing is good, i definatly don't condone it, but i bet over half of the cited people weren't racing.
