Got arrested Saturday night along with 200 other people.

It's pretty simple, cops can bend the laws to their own liking. It just shows how pathetic cops really are, that they have nothing else to do but take 75 cops and cite 200 people for no real good reason. They should spend there time elsewere, cracking down on real ciminals. I dont think street racing is good, i definatly don't condone it, but i bet over half of the cited people weren't racing.

alot of those "trespassing" or "loitering" citations are encouraged by buiseness' who are afraid of being held liable if something (fistfight, car wreck) happens on their property , people will and DO sue places like Home depot for not enforcing "no loitering " laws ...for instance ..distraught parents of kids who were killed in an accident ...just another side of the story i suppose ..altho im sure not going to be a popular one around here ..

K when I say what my oppinion is remember I am for law enforcement almost in every case. This is pretty rediculous and was very poorly planned to cut off the exits. And in the instance that someone is simply there to check out the cars, then boom before they know it there in cuffs thats f'd. There is no better words to describe that, and really if you were not drag racing I would stick it to the man and get as many people as possible to fight it.

Yea alot of ppl are fighting the tickets but they didnt tell us how much they said we'd get them in the mail and they could be between $25-$300. But yea it sucked and cost $200 to get the car out of the impound. And it is nothing but a big car show thats why I go to hangout talk to friends and look at some sweet rides. And the racing isn't done in the parking lot its done on rt. 30 right in front of the parking lot. I feel they shouldnt kick us out for that let us sit in the parking lot but if they don't want drag racing than sit on rt. 30 and pull them over. Don't arrest everyone for doing nothing wrong.

Wow, I was eating at the chinese buffet next to old country a couple of hours before that happened...
I have never gotten the chance to go to one of these events, but my one friend goes there frequently. What he tells me is about the same this you have said. Mainly its just a group of people hanging out, showing off their cars, and having a good time. According to him, there are some races on rt. 30, but most are done when the street is empty. Even though it does only take one race to kill someone, there are other places that cops should crack down on instead of OCB and rt. 30...
Good luck in fighting your ticket, you have my support...

wow man ****ty deal. i feel lucky to live in a place where the cops arent *** holes. people hang out up at the mall, and unless theres underage drinking or street racing, the cops just ask what were up to and we say not much just hangin out, they say have a great night and leave us alone.
