i have looked into going once i graduate, but i dont know if i want to go through another year and a half of school. i might wait until i get a job to see if they will pay for me to go. its a personal choice because its more schooling but im sure it will pay off in the end. what are you going to be going for?

I'm a freshman in college (well technically a softmore) and I'm planning to go to grad school while I work. I think that most grad school classes are during the evening anyway so it should be possible to do grad school and hold up a full time job at the same time. For engineers at least, grad school is a really good idea since people with master's degree get like 20K+ over thier bacholar's degree counter parts.

IDK. I have split opinions about this. I would first find a job and see if having a masters degree will result in a higher salary. BTW, I'm currently a junior and will hopefully graduate next spring with 2 bachelor degrees - international business and finance. I'm thinking about going to law school as opposed to grad school. But, that's what I like. I'm sure that most people would find law school boring..

Well, I have a really good job now, that would be about 65 - 70g a year whenI graduateand a masters does help 10 - 15g but I'll actually be applying to PhD programs I think. Most major companies won't hire VPs and the such unless they have a PhD and starting salary for aPhDengineer is around 100g.
It's honestly not entirely about the money for me though, as nerdy as that is, I like learning and want to continue until I can't any more. I would still be working on and off as I went to school, like I do now and would more than likely be able to do my thesis right at the company I'm working for now so it seems like an ideal time to do it.
