I got this idea from a different forum. anyone who plays GT4, post your best times on Nurburgring.

The Rules:

1. It has to be in a civic. year and trim level dont matter.

2. No nitrous.

3. No "Race Cars" you have to build and tune it.

4. its all based on honesty, dont bother lying, it just ruins it for the rest of us.

5. theres no ending date. ill compile the best times every now and then. its just a little something to play for.

and i havent even started building my civic im going to use for this, so dont think i have an unfair advantage. but tommorow, watch out!

Well, im getting ready to start. im not to the point in the game that i have money to spare, so i have to work for it, then build it as i go. but my first lap in my new (used) 98 Civic Type-R, dead stock, just an oil change and a car wash, was 9:39.424. now, its time for the mods.

 

do we have a time limit on when this contest is over?

 

nope. its on-going. i guess its more of a competition than a contest.

 

ok...i got 9.24.477 with a used 01 type R...also oil change and car wash only...

 

same car...modded...7.51.395..i havent tuned anything...i just modded...and i was gear bound on the long straightaway, so i dont see how the bottle would even help me...although im out of money...so i cant get it anyway...
