Ok so as many of you know me and a freind plan to start building and selling short and long blocks. We are planning on buying a cheap car to strip to bare metal and put a built engine(boosted) in it for drag strip duties only. He is a Mitsu guy and I am a Honda guy but we have all but decided to go honda being the availible light weight chassis we can pick from.

I'm going to throw a couple car options up to see what you guys opinions are. Keep in mind this car will not be a show winner, all go. it will look good meaning we are not going to be running a total beater but nothing will be done to help the looks of the car by way of nice rims or anything of that nature.

 

i say the crx. i know those and the eg's are hella light. so good luck and have fun.

I voted for the EG coupe. I like the style of the EG gen. I knw the coupe is heavier than the hatch. but you are already doing an EG hatch, so i figured you wouldnt to do that again.

 

i would think the fact that hes already doing an EG hatch would make him want to NOT do an EG coupe...not compel him to.

well then do the EG hatch. they are super light, and smaller than a EK

 

i like the classic stlying on the ef sedan, no one would think that is fast, or better yet the wagin model
