ORIGINAL: AOL.COM

chrysler=crap ------take the money & run

thats why with the exception of Toyota, Chrysler is OWNing all!!!!!!! No one can answer Chrysler's line of SRT models, especially the SRT8 300C. Where can you buy a faster production car for the same amount of money or less? Toyota is Chrysler's only competion right now. Ford and GM are going bankrupt because they cant compete with Chrysler's line of vehicle. Count how many new Dodge Ram pick ups your see in a day, count how many Sebrings you see in a day, count how many 300's you see in a day, but yet Chrysler equals crap. The funny thing is too that Chrysler's only 2 door car is the Sebring Convt. but yet the still own the automobile industry (again with the exception of Toyota)

Oh yea forgot to mention, count how many Jeeps you see in a day!!!!!! Good lord everyone owns a damn jeep these days!

I think that the quality of American cars has gone up. Chrysler is a really good example. They make a whole bunch of really good cars, there are more than a couple of Chrysler cars that i would drive. Hopefully GM and Ford realize thier mistakes and start to make some really good cars.

while i am an auto enthusiast and i have always been a "v8 guy"...i still appreciate fast imports, and as funds free up, i would like to have an old hatch to play with down the road....that being said, i currently own 5 chrysler products...and while i taking painstaking care of them...well, except for my old truck...i havent had any problems...*knock on wood*...

i know that this is an "import forum", but the of three major us automakers, dcx is owning ford and gm...for a reason.

i can almost see ford and gm going out of business upon the release of the the new Dodge Challenger in 2009

ppl are coming in my work all the time trying to see if they can buy one now for when it comes out in 2009. The car is sick.

So is the Chrysler Imperial that is coming out.

i also intend to have one....but im not a "first run" kind of person...like the morons who paid 10grand over sticker for one of the first retro stangs...only to have to deal with the "bugs" that hadnt been worked out...

and like the morons who paid a grand for an xbox360 that...well, its from microsoft, so anything over free is a crappy deal...

Wow, lots of options. As far as the 2.7 goes, its toast. Ive been reading up on the sludging problem, and because of the location of the timing belt (on top), its done for. But I made a call to Indiana, and there is an auto auction there every Wednesday, and the guy said they sell a lot of busted Intrepids for about 1000 bucks, and possibly as much as 1500, so I think im going to try my luck there. Thanks for all the help and ideas though guys.

And yeah, I have a feeling that will be the last chrysler car my family buys for a while.

the mechanic is gonna take your car and throw in a new engine and sell it for ton more than $150...

take the car and sell it yourself in local trader papers, you'll get at least $500 for it.
