I am a welder. New job starts in 6 months and last for 5 years welding up a new KIA plant near here. Making about $30 an hour. Maybe even more if I can pass my certifications before then.

((I am happy because this one is close enough to drive home everyday!!! Unlike the one from a few weeks ago that was 2 hours away.))

I wash dishes for 6.50/hr and min wage is 5.85/hr so I'm not complaining. I also sold my lambo hinges for more than I paid for them a few days ago and my g/f broke up with me after overa year in a relationship with her so now I have even more money to spend on my car. [&o]

I work for $7.50 an hour at my dads office typing up accounting and stuff for him, really boring work but suppose it is better than nothing, don't get many hours so pay comes in slow though. Going to try and get a job at either best buy or circuit city or some place that does stuff to cars, even if its a cut in pay I can probably get more hours and it will be more interesting getting to see people below the age of 55 (dads office is in a retirement community)

Yeah, I want to do the engine swap myself, but I just don't know enough or have the proper tools. Besides, the $3400 on the b18c kit I want is large. Once I have the money for the swap I'm looking at another $1000 at least getting it installed.... Unless some experienced HCF user isin CA, or willing to drive wants to help me. I just don't think I am capable of swapping an engine with merely the help of a book.

i work at a starbucks roasting plant and make 10 an hour. Before that I worked at McDonalds for 8.50 an hour. Both of them suck but its better than most kids i know that are 18. You just save until you can afford it.
