you could always buy refurbished ones from apple directly. they come with a brand new warranty.

If you buy refurbished, wont the battery be old and die out soon?

Buy the applecare, then your set for 3 years.

get an ipod, i don't regret throwing out the cash for one one bit. only problem is the size of the 30 gb movie ipod, it's just a little bulky for my taste, maybe they might come out with a 30 gig the size of the nano, that would be the one to get

I have the new 30 gig video. It's awesome and all but it's still "big" in comparison to the new nano. I bought my girlfriend the new 8 gig nano and I'm jealous. It's so small. I would suggest to get no smaller than a 4 gig. You forget how much music you have until you run out of room on your iPod. Good luck with buying one! The 30 gig video and the 8 gig nano are both $250 USD.

Fixed for ya

Refurbished iPods are ipods that either have been sent in for service and have had their parts replaced, or units that have sat on the shelf for more then 90days and were not sold. So basically they are the same as a brand new unit, but at a discounted price

Johnny any question just PM me
